I'm dreaming of a white christmas, just like the one's I used to know. Where the tree tops glisten, and children listen, to hear sleighbells in the snow.
So it's snowing. And I'm drawing my wall section today. I will be contacting my mentor later on about several things with building materials and construction of walls to contribute to my math and science analysis.

I have begun the foundation and wall section drawings. It will be easier to complete other drawings once these are done. We also had to change our wall height from 10' to 12'4" for the roof support and the space that will take up. Our ceiling height is 9' and the builing floor begins 4" above the ground. This is all going to be included in the dimensioned drawings.
Friday we sewed a panel for Savy during class in his rememberance.

This is yesterday's log. Exterior wall section drawings were talked about and will now begin. Cross section is still being figured out. Foundation plan must be complete for my other partners to begin their drawings. That will be worked on today and for the rest of the week.

Today we dicussed roof pitch. I must first find the weight per square foot of all materials resting on the beams, including joists and insulation. Once this weight is found we can calculate the size of beams and columns. Also, cross section must include foundation and roof. Drawings will continue next week and math and science analysis will begin.

Cross section drawings are almost complete. I am right on schedule according to my calendar. I hope to be done by Thursday of this week with the cross section so I can begin on the other drawings. After the drawing is complete I will dimension it to make sure it is scaled correctly.
